FAQ:

Q: What is RLS IDX?
A: RLS IDX is a property search tool that provides a data display of properties that are currently on the market.   RLS is the dominant real estate database that REBNY affiliated brokers use to share information in the NYC area.

Q: What kind of information can I find on RLS IDX?
A: RLS IDX provides real-time access to their entire database of properties, which means that the listings are up-to-date and accurate. You can find information about properties such as location, price, number of bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage, and more.

Q: How does RLS IDX help me in my search for a property?
A: RLS IDX features advanced search filters that allow users to narrow down their search by specific criteria such as location, price, and number of bedrooms, and also offers customized search options for users. It also allows users to connect directly with a local agent for additional information and support throughout the apartment hunting process.

Q: Is RLS IDX only for apartment hunting?
A: RLS IDX is mainly used for searching houses, apartments and other kind of properties, but it also allows users to search for other types of properties such as commercial properties, land, and more.

Q: Are the listings on RLS IDX exclusive?
A: RLS IDX includes exclusive listings that are not available on other popular platforms, giving users access to a wider range of properties.

Q: Can I trust the information on RLS IDX?
A: The information on RLS IDX is verified by professional agents and is considered more reliable than other platform like Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist.

Q:  I keep getting a "listing unavailable" every time I try to put in a query on something nice I've found.  Is something wrong with the system?
A:  Feel free to notify me of any technical problems you're having; however, be advised that RLS IDX prides itself on keeping listings up to date.  If you're getting nothing but "listing unavailable" responses, you're probably searching for listings below the median market price and were grabbed up moments after they went on the system.   They may still be appearing in the search results, but when you click them, the system will correctly inform you that they're not longer available.

Q:  How do I gain access to your RLS IDX listings?
A:  Simply click the link in my menu!

Q:  Is there a fee for using this service?
A:  Absolutely not.  It is simply a display of listings.  Fees would only arise if you decided to take an apartment.   Searching and viewing are absolutely free.
