I am an experienced adult literacy and ESOL instructor holding my Ed.M in Adult Education from Rutgers University. I am also licensed by the State of New York to teach at BPSS accredited career schools in addition to being a certified Best 2.0 Test Administrator.
My teaching career began over 30 years ago in when I received training from the Philadelphia Mayor's Commission on Literacy and began teaching classes at the Nationalities Services Center and the Korean Community Development Service Center after which I moved to Japan and began teaching students and businesspeople throughout the Tokyo Metropolitan region I later became head teacher as well as curriculum designer at a number of schools and taught at a university.
Having worked with students of hundreds of nationalities, until recently I was also a faculty member at the Northern Manhattan Improvement Corporation, focusing on ESOL and digital literacy.
My "empowerment mission" now encompasses activities related to helping New Yorkers find the homes they need in order to fulfill their life ambitions.
