Unfortunately it's pretty normal in the real estate biz for people not to return calls and e-mails.   My personal philosophy is that even if I can't help you, taking 3 seconds to respond to your e-mail even to point you in another direction will pay off because one day you will really will need me, and you'll remember how I took time to answer your question.
